The Last Great Republican President

President a hero to Conservatives!

Truth About Our "Conservative" Hero

What if I told you that the most beloved Republican president in modern history:

  • Built the largest government program in American history

  • Sent federal troops to force racial integration in the South

  • Warned Americans that corporations and the military were conspiring against them

  • Raised taxes on the wealthy to 91%

  • Expanded Social Security and unemployment benefits

You'd probably call him a radical leftist, right?

That president was Dwight D. Eisenhower—and he's the last truly great Republican president we've had.

Everything You Think You Know Is Wrong

While today's Republicans worship at the altar of Ronald Reagan, they've completely forgotten the man who actually embodied conservative values. Eisenhower didn't just talk about making America great—he literally built the roads that connected our nation.

But here's where it gets interesting...

Eisenhower Was More "Socialist" Than Today's Democrats

The Interstate Highway System was government-funded infrastructure on a scale that would make today's progressives dizzy. Eisenhower spent the equivalent of $500 billion in today's money on what was essentially a massive jobs program disguised as national defense.

When Arkansas tried to block school integration, Eisenhower didn't tweet about states' rights—he sent paratroopers to protect children's right to education. Compare that to today, where they're sending in troops to break up freedom of speech and terrorize our communities.

And that 91% top tax rate? Eisenhower kept it there for his entire presidency while balancing the budget THREE times.

We've Been Worshipping the Wrong Republican

Reagan tripled the national debt while preaching fiscal responsibility. Eisenhower actually balanced budgets while building America's future. Reagan gave us feel-good slogans and trickle-down economics that never trickled. Eisenhower gave us the interstate highways, the St. Lawrence Seaway, and the foundation of NASA.

Reagan talked about "morning in America" while shipping jobs overseas. Eisenhower created the conditions for the greatest economic expansion in American history—and he did it by investing in American workers and American infrastructure.

Here's the Real Kicker

Eisenhower's final warning to America wasn't about communists or liberals—it was about the "military-industrial complex." A five-star general telling Americans to beware of corporate and military power grabbing control of our democracy.

Today's Republicans would call him a woke pansy for questioning corporate power and warning about endless wars for profit.

Building on Eisenhower's Foundation

This is exactly why we need to remember what real conservative leadership looked like. Eisenhower understood that true conservatism means conserving what makes America great: our communities, our workers, and our democratic institutions.

Eisenhower built the physical infrastructure that connected America. Now we need to build the economic infrastructure that empowers Americans.

That's the vision behind the American Jobs Factory. We're taking Eisenhower's belief in investing in American workers and American communities to the next level:

  • 50 worker-owned companies that will generate 500,000 jobs and $250 billion in annual revenue

  • Pioneering a 4-day work week with a paid community service day—just as Henry Ford proved the 5-day work week was more productive than the 6-day standard, we're proving that giving workers time for community service makes everyone more productive

  • Executive pay capped at 6 times the median worker salary

  • Businesses that prove you can be profitable AND put people first

Eisenhower warned us about the military-industrial complex taking over our democracy. We're creating an alternative: the worker-ownership revolution that puts economic power back in the hands of the people who do the work.

The last great Republican president understood that America's strength comes from its people, not its billionaires. He built the roads. We're building the future that travels on them.

Join us in finishing what Eisenhower started.
